You Should be comfortable in the skin that you are in. Always.

In today’s world it is so important to be comfortable in your own skin. Comfortable in your own skin could refer to the clothes that you wear, the hobby’s that you enjoy, the cause that you support, the family or friends that you share, the sports that you enjoy or take physical part in and the list goes on. If you are not comfortable in the skin that you are in there are a few things that you might want to take note of.

  1. There is a saying “fake it till you make it”. No one has all the answers. That does not mean pretend. All this thought process does is build confidence and push ourselves into uncomfortable situations.
  2. Build self -worth. This might be one of the more difficult things to do. What exactly does it mean to build self-worth? Building self-worth is actually a deep dive into feelings of insecurity and self doubt.
  3. Accept your weaknesses. We all have weaknesses and we all have strengths. Focus on accepting each weakness and in some cases work on strengthening them. Some may be tougher than others. The important take away here is acceptance. Learning to look in from the outside is a tough and tricky skill to master.
