Valentine’s Day thoughtful and Simple Gift Ideas.

Don’t stress about it. Sit back, relax, get out your little connection to the outside word, AKA internet, do a little research and let your mind wonder. Remember it’s not always one size fits all. The most important thing to remember is what would be special or unique to your significant other.

I love roses, but eventually they die. Last year my significant other had a petite rose bush delivered to me on Valentine’s Day. It was the best idea ever! I kept it in the house until spring arrived, planted it in my courtyard and watched it grow all summer long. Guess what? It will be back again this year and every year after. Another idea that goes a long way is an “us” box. Instead of buying a gift for the other person, buy a few smaller gifts for the both of you to enjoy as a couple. A small wooden crate from your local craft store, spray painted white or red, a few significant items tucked down in with accompanying tissue paper and some additional valentine decor will definitely scream thoughtful.

There are so many ideas for gifts and date nights for one of the most loved days of the year. Searching for the perfect gift or date night idea could be overwhelming. If all else fails, ask your significant other to choose three things that they would like to do and you will pick one! Stress free and a win win and your final choice could still be a surprise. Trust me, once the planning begins the mind will wonder and the ideas will flow.
