Do your thing until spring 2021.

Spring 2021 is around the corner and they say it takes 21 days to form a habit. March 20th is the day that we officially welcome spring into our life and I can not wait! Taking advantage of this coincidental timeline could be good for the mind, body, soul and those around you. We are in tough times right now, but despite the pandemic nature will still go on as planned and nature can be a beautiful thing. Lets use it to our advantage. Self love is one of the most important things that you can give yourself. It is a human necessity, but how many of us lack in…

Valentine’s Day thoughtful and Simple Gift Ideas.

Don’t stress about it. Sit back, relax, get out your little connection to the outside word, AKA internet, do a little research and let your mind wonder. Remember it’s not always one size fits all. The most important thing to remember is what would be special or unique to your significant other. I love roses, but eventually they die. Last year my significant other had a petite rose bush delivered to me on Valentine’s Day. It was the best idea ever! I kept it in the house until spring arrived, planted it in my courtyard and watched it grow all summer long. Guess what? It will be back again this…

If I ever go missing……Wine and Friends.

If I ever go missing I want to be remembered for all of the good times and bad and have my picture put on a wine bottle. More to come on that. All of the times that I shared with each and every one of you were a great memory, a good memory or a lesson learned. Not everyone will go through life full of JUST good memories. Know this, it is okay to fail. If you never failed you never lived. Reach high! Just like with anything else. Let’s go for it! Say it with me “I want to be remembered 100 years from now”. Is that comment out…

It’s not what we have in life.

It’s not what we have in life, but who we have in our lives that matter. Sure we all have people in our lives, but who are they? Do we really know? Do we really care? Friends, family, boyfriend, neighbors, fiancé, husband, best friend, pets? In this life we only have so much time. Yes, life is short. Sometimes we can find ourselves accumulating more in life that we need or have time for. Things that do not speak to you or believe in you. Oh, they might speak to you in the moment, if you know what I mean, but short term has no storage unit for them. Long…

I open my mouth and my mother comes out.

Why does this always happen? Do you ever have that moment when you say something and your mouth keeps on moving, but your mind lags behind? It is lagging ever so slightly because you are realizing that what you just said sounded like your mother. “Oh boy! Did that just happen?”Whether we admit it or not? We are a product of our mother in more ways than one. Mothers are wise beyond their own belief and we will never be ahead of them in their human lifecycle. A lifecycle is an entire lesson all to itself. Even though from a very young age we experience those moments where we think…

    Happy New Year!

WOW! Where can I start? How about with the new year? Of course there are things to remember and things that one will never forget about 2020, but I am just going to keep it moving in to what I hope to refer to as “The Best Year Ever”. I am so exited to start a new year. The few things that I carried with me into the new year are some holiday decorations, family, career and left over sauerkraut. Oh! One last thing, a 2021 Planner that states on the front cover “BEST YEAR EVER”. More to come on that. Things that I have learned not in the prior…

Energy. Where do you put it?

We are not robots and we are not rechargeable. I’m not complaining. I am glad. The alarm goes off at 6:00 am on average. One thing after the next. Sometimes you know what’s in store and sometimes you do not. Sometimes you can control it and sometimes you can not and at the end of the day you set the alarm all over again just to “do it” all over again. Just exhausting, but you can’t sleep. Does it make any sense? I’m not really sure why I can’t sleep. Is it the fact that my mind is still processing what just happened? Is it trying to process what could…

    How do you know?

Some say it is butterflies. Some say it is happiness everyday. Some think they were there before and some may never be. It is believed by most that you will know when you arrive. Being ungrateful could blind you, but a few things are constant and do not allow such blindfold to exist. Chemistry will never be forced, hesitation will never exist. The connection will be so powerful the soul will feel it. The hope is that every soul, at least in one lifetime, can feel this love.

Comfortable In The Skin That You Are In.

In today’s world it is so important to be comfortable in your own skin. Comfortable in your own skin could refer to the clothes that you wear, the hobby’s that you enjoy, the cause that you support, the family or friends that you share, the sports that you enjoy or take physical part in and the list goes on. If you are not comfortable in the skin that you are in there are a few things that you might want to take note of. There is a saying “fake it till you make it”. No one has all the answers. That does not mean pretend. All this thought process does…
